Pinot Blanc - Villa Wolf - Dr E Loosen - Pfalz - Germany
Villa Wolf Pinot Blanc is made in a dry style with fresh unoaked fruit and a crisp texture. Germany also has the most planted area of Pinot Blanc in the world, where the grape is also known as Weißburgunder.
The Pfalz region is in the Rhine river valley in southwest Germany, directly north of Franc's Alsace region. The low-lying Haardt mountains protect the area from cold, wet Atlantic weather, making it one of the warmer and drier areas of Germany
Fresh aroma of apples and apricots with a hint of sage. The wine is concentrated and elegant on the palate and the finish has excellent length. Delicious as an aperitif, or serve with seafood, poultry or salads
