A unique & robust red blend from the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain in Western Cape, South Africa. Babel is a blend of 34% Shiraz, 24.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 8% Malbec, 7% Petit Verdot, 5.5% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Pinotage. The grape varieties are harvested & fermented separately (with extended maceration) before ageing in French Oak (30% new) for 12 months.

A balanced fusion of dark red berry and chocolate flavours with a soft mouth-feel and juicy, lingering finish.

Serving suggestion - Rack of lamb, oxtail and succulent lamb shank.
