Made in a clay cement ovoid tank - a giant "egg" - the lees are continuously forced upward by an internal current resembling a vortex. This gives the wine voluptuousness, purity and texture. A blend of 85% cabernet sauvignon and 15% nebbiolo. Full bodied and drinking beautifully now, the wine has bright acidity, with blackcurrant fruit and a lovely herbal bay leaf note. The wine carries fine tannins, bright acidity with herbs and blackcurrants that lead to a long and moreish finish.
