The Umani Ronchi Vecchie Vigne Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore is a multi-award winning organic white wine made from Verdicchio grapes grown on a unique 4 hectare vineyard that is now more than forty five years old. The wine is aged over a long period, first in concrete tanks in contact with the native yeasts (lees) and then subsequently in bottle, imparting this cru with its particular richness and brings out the typical Verdicchio character. The nose offers enticing aromas of camomile and pear with pleasant overtones of wild mint, sage and hazelnut. The palate is striking for its elegance. Crisp and fresh with perfectly balanced acidity, the finish is long with a pleasantly savoury finish.
