The Felix is 100 percent gruner veltliner from the Kamptal and the wine is made according to the personal philosophy of Davis and Rupert Summerer, the current family winemaker. They practice organic principles in the vineyards but they also centre on biodynamic diversity in the vineyard and this is a philosophy that has evolved into what they call, the Principle Terrafactum. The Felix Gruner Veltliner is pure and fresh full of green pear, yellow apple and honeydew melon flavour. Hint of white pepper, support from fresh limey acidity and incredible chalky minerality makes this wine even more attractive. Great as an aperitif, with chicken, fish, shellfish, Japanese cuisine, tofu.

The grapes going into Felix are picked from vineyards undergoing organic conversion, and tended with a priority to protecting the natural biodiveristy of flora and fauna. Slightly cool and spicy nose, with pronounced varital characteristics on the palate: orhard fruit and a hint of green beans. Very light-bodied and lean with citrus notes, crunchy green apple subtle juiciness and a bittersweet, slender finish.
