Mezcal - Con Gusano (worm) - La Penca
Mezcal
La Penca
In the 19th Century, aristocrats had a special preference towards Mezcal; it was known among them as 'The Cognac of Mexico', because of its unique flavour and exquisite softness. La Penca is the name of the sword-like leaves that are removed from the maguey ( agave ) plant when removing the piña.
Distilled from 'Salmiana', an outstanding form of Maguey, the mezcal is stored in white oak barrels to age, maintaining tradition and ensuring the distinctive flavour profile. 100% Agave and packaged in a hand blown Artisan bottle.
