Ample on the nose, of ripe fruit from late harvest grapes, even tropical, including sweet notes of honey, lime as well as spicy and citrus notes, liquorice root and almonds. It is wonderfully harmonious  with a great alcoholic structure mitigated by savoury strength and freshness. Simply a persuasive and extremely fascinating wine.

Ideal food pairing is stockfish all'anconetana (regional Marche specialty) and baked cod, also great with smoked fish and sardines 'a beccafico'. Excellent with foie gras or paté de foie gras, roast goose and duck, turkey, as well as perfect with well-aged cheeses.

Sartarelli is one of the few Italian wineries which focuses exclusively on a single varietal production, in this case Verdicchio. The Sartarelli company, with its extension of 55 hectares of vineyards and 6 hectares of olive groves with 2 300 trees, is situated in Poggio San Marcello, a small precious gem surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills of the Marche region.
