Cider - Smokey Plum - Pilton - 750ml

This the third edition of Pilton's Islay-barrel Plum Wine with keeved cider and easily the best yet.

Plums were hand picked in summer 2020 with foraging friend Stu from Yonder Brewing and fermented before spontaneously, mashing every day for two weeks. The slightly funky plum wine was then matured in Islay whisky barrels and blended with sweet keeved cider just before bottling.

Sharp plum acidity is balanced by luscious keeved sweetness, whilst generous fruit is enhanced by smooth curls of warm smoke.
