The Pasos de La Capula Tempranillo is a bit of a time travelling wine. It is made from grapes picked from the oldest winemaking region is Spain (the high Central Plateau of Old Castille) but it is designed to be a young and fruity upstart.

The name Tempranillo comes from the Spanish word “temprano,” meaning “early,” because it ripens weeks before its grape buddies even think about changing colour. It’s fresh, vibrant, and has a hint of spice that keeps things interesting.

This wine pairs perfectly with tapas, especially those with a bit of spice. Think chorizo, patatas bravas, and anything that makes you want to dance flamenco.
