We’ve been actively inactive in an attempt to let the intrinsic characteristics of the land speak. We’ve encouraged roots to flourish in soils that’re rich in biota, fermented with only indigenous yeasts, ferment with only indigenous yeast at temperatures determined by nature itself. When intervention is necessary, we do it gently to reduce the impact of winemaking. This wine is a celebration of place, a true reflection of its importance and a statement of our commitment to protecting the land.
This is a fascinating blend, hand-picked from the oldest Organic vineyard in Marlborough. Try pairing this fuller-bodied wine with river fish, lighter seafood, poultry and vegetable dishes or delicate Asian flavours.
