Macon Chardonnay - Les Enracinés - Natural - Chateau de la Terriere - Burgundy - France

Pure, fresh floral aromas with notes of hawthorne. Saline mineral notes develop on the palate. This wine comes from the village called Chardonnay in the Maconnais appellation of Burgundy. The terroir is mostly limestone, which produces fine delicate wines, that need no added sulphites. We love the label which refers of course to the wine being naked and natural, maybe even a nod to the young hipsters who flock to Natural wines!

No oak, just ripe fruit with the fine lees preserved - battonage gives good palate weight and richness.
