A rich and full-bodied red wine from Italy's Veneto region. Made from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes, this wine is aged for 24 months in barrel and bottle. An  intense, dark ruby colour, with aromas of dark fruit, chocolate, and spice. On the palate, it is complex and layered, with flavours of black cherry, plum, and vanilla. The tannins are firm and well-integrated, giving this wine a long and elegant finish. This wine is a true expression of the Valpolicella terroir and is a must-try for any wine lover.

Pairs particularly well with roasted meat, and robust vegetarian dishes.

Ripasso  is a strictly controlled, traditional and unique wine-making method crafted only from grapes grown in Valpolicella. The name Ripasso comes from the re-fermentation of Valpolicella wine over the pressed skins our Amarone wines (“Ripasso” is to re-pass). After this secondary fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for around 12 months.

Ageing potential: up to 5 years.
