Velonesi's Brecciarolo Rosso Piceno Superiore combines the berry fruit of a southern Italian with the juicy and fresh structure of Chianti. The Sangiovese grapes give it a fine acidity and the Montepulciano grapes give it density and enamel.
Fresh, dark berries, especially blueberries and blackberries on the nose. Spicy notes of coffee, a hint of liquorice and elegant wood notes are added.
On the palate it is soft and gives off a lot of ripe fruit, a well integrated acidity and delicate tannin. Finally, it flows into a fiery and particularly strong finish.
