10 Year Old Tawny has a pale gold colour from its long exposure in oak casks of 550 litres where it also developed great fragrance, character, and length of flavor. This 10-year-old Tawny shows just what brilliant value Quinta do Portal’s ports can be. Extended aging in barrel has produced an extremely classy, lighter coloured port, with a beautiful, amber tinge (the Tawny of the title.) Rich and raisiny, with figs to the fore, the palate just goes on and on with layers of dried fruit flavours and a wonderful, refreshing, finish. Utterly scrumptious! Comes in a gift box.
