Combining traditional winemaking methods with an innovative approach, Vega Nueva offers the adventurous wine drinker a smart twist on much-loved classics.
Vega Nueva Rioja is made from 100% Tempranillo Grapes. The old vines are located on southern-facing slopes and enjoy a Mediterranean climate with a gentle Atlantic influence. The grapes are harvested by hand, with intervention kept to a minimum, and the finished wine is matured in the cellars of the Bodegas.
This is a ripe and generous wine, packed with fresh, dark berry fruits, showing great structure, and a hint of sweet vanilla. A great accompaniment to grilled meats, stews, steak, mature cheese or traditional dishes like lechazo-de-churra.
