Cabernet Franc - Rendez Vous - Chateau Viranel - Languedoc-Roussillon - France

Cabernet Franc with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. A rush of red fruit on the nose, alongside varietal notes of bell pepper common to Cabernet Franc.

Made without oak ageing for primarily young drinking, the red fruit aromas give way to deeper flavours of blackberry with some red liquorice, clove and cherry spice, all culminating in a soft and fresh finish.  

Enjoy a glass or two with a steak tartare, or lentil soup with smoked ham. Or pop in the fridge for half an hour for a refreshing aperitif, perhaps with a little Goats cheese.
