Popa Tinto - Contos da Terra - Douro - Portugal

Quinta do Pôpa’s Contos da Terra Tinto is a red from the Douro in Portugal, made from a blend of traditional Douro grapes: mostly Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca.

In the glass it shows a youthful ruby-red colour and opens with vibrant aromas of cherry, red berries and a hint of herbal lift. On the palate it’s smooth and balanced with juicy fruit, gentle tannins and a bright acidity; the finish, fresh and fruit-driven, making it an approachable yet expressive Douro red.
