Quinta do Pôpa’s Contos da Terra Douro Branco is a fresh, aromatic white from the Douro valley made as a blend of several native Portuguese grapes, including Viosinho, Gouveio, Folgazão, Rabigato, Códega de Larinho and Arinto.
In the glass it shows a light straw-yellow colour and offers a bright, lively nose: expect citrus (lemon, lime), lime-zest and a touch of tropical fruit or exotic-fruit hint, along with a subtle mineral nuance. On the palate it is crisp and refreshing with high acidity, a clean, slightly saline/stone-driven mineral backbone and a citrus-tinged finish that leaves the wine lively and easy-drinking.
