This Feketeleanyka – or Feteasca Neagra – a black grape indigenous to Romania – comes from Transylvania's famous Minis vineyard nestled in the foothills of Arad where the grapes enjoy long sunshine hours on granite rich soils. The grapes are handpicked and fermented with native yeast. The wine is aged in large used barrels, which adds texture, but also allows the dark fruit flavours to shine.
