Lihnos Vidiano is a dry white wine with aromas of peach, pear, and vanilla from subtle oak ageing. The flavours of lemon and mandarin come through on the palate. Drink now and for the next 5 years. 

The grapes are organically farmed, hand-harvested, and meticulously selected from small vineyard parcels surrounding Dourakis Winery. 

And the name? During the humble beginnings of the family’s winery, grandfather, Andreas Dourakis, used a traditional Cretan oil lamp called a 'lihnos' to inspect his wine barrels. The barrels were kept in the dark cellar where no light would enter and disturb the wines as they aged. The family honour him and his commitment to carefully crafted wines with the Lihnos Vidiano.
