The entire vineyard of Château de Pampelonne is located in the Côtes de Provence PDO zone, where of course, It enjoys mild temperatures all year round and exceptional sunshine. Just 50 hectares of vines, 80% sandy soils combined with vines, of some of which are 100 years old produce a wonderful concentration in the wine.
Since the 2018 vintage, the Château de Pampelonne vineyard has been certified in HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale), France's prestigious environmental certification program that recognizes farms committed to sustainable agricultural practices. This certification requires vineyards to meet strict criteria across four key areas: biodiversity preservation, plant protection strategies, fertilizer management, and water resource conservation.
The harvest is carried out at night in order to preserve the primary aromas of the grapes - Rosé wines are produced by direct pressing. Fermentation takes place under controlled temperature. No malolactic fermentation. The wines are aged at least 4 months on fine lees before being filtered and bottled. A classic Provence rosé, this is elegant and lively in the mouth, with mineral refinement alongside peach and hawthorn notes.
