Cabernet Franc - Verum - Patagonia - Argentina

Cabernet Franc is a grape variety that works very well in the cool, high altitude vineyards of Argentina. Spicy with notes of dried herbs and crunchy black fruits. Rich and ripe but still retains a fresh finish.

Red-plum and raspberry aromas are lean and come with a note of cinnamon. Astringency and tartness are notable issues on a high-acid palate that's dealing strained flavours of plum skins and currant.

On the finish, this Patagonian Cab Franc is sharp and even a touch sour, with soft tannins and a persistent tang.
