Assyrtiko - Malagousia - Idea White - Barafakas Winery - Nemea - Greece

The 'Idea' of winemaker Chris Barafaka was to marry the classic Assyrtiko grape with aromatic Malagouzia to give a fresh but still presumed, aromatic white, a great match with seafood. 

Lemon colour, citrus nose with emphasis on the fruit which plays between the white-fleshed fruits like peach and tropical, pineapple/mango. Some herbal hints in the background and in the mouth lovely balanced acidity, fruit intensity, roundness and fruity aftertaste. Totally enjoyable fresh and easy-drying without being overly complex. Pair with Greek salads, fish, white meats.
