Amarone della Valpolicella is a rich, dry Italian red wine from the Veneto region. It is produced primarily from the Corvina grape. Amarone is characterized by ripe, bold flavours.

The grapes are harvested by hand in September and left to dry until they have lost the 35-40% of their original weight. The wine spends 4 months in stainless steel tanks then 24 months in French oak barrels before 4 months aged in bottle before release.

Deep ruby red in colour with intense flavours of fruit, jam and Mediterranean spices.

Fantastic velvety texture and well-rounded full-bodied taste. A perfect balance between acidity and softness.

Pairs well with red meats, braised joints, game and fermented cheese.
