Grand Chardonnay - Origine - Cellier des Chartreux - IGP Gard - France

This one’s proving a big hit.  It seems that creamy Chardonnay is back in style, although a million miles from those Aussie butter-bombs of the ’80s and ’90s. It's powerful with tons of tropical fruit flavours, pineapple, mango, a hint of butterscotch,   but it’s also balanced by crisp, refreshing acidity.

Intense golden yellow color with bright reflections. The nose has an aromatic richness of very ripe white fruits and exotic fruits. The finish has notes of vanilla, toasted almonds and white flowers. This wine successfully combines richness, density and complexity. An incredible and good value alternative to a Burgundian Chardonnay.
